Theodore Taylor papers focus on his work as an author of children's and young adult fiction and non-fiction. His papers trace the genesis, process and revision of twenty-four of his works published between 1969 and 1995. The collection includes outlines, typescripts, with many various drafts of particular works, notes, galley and page proofs, photocopies of illustrations and artwork, layout notes, front matter, clippings including reviews, and correspondence. There is also production material for one unpublished work, The Animals at Christmas.
